Reality or Technology?

Parenting is no longer the same as it used to be. This is due to the fact that many parents have given their children access to cell phones and tablets. When parents are unable to control their children, they assume that handing up a phone will assist them in remaining silent. This is inconvenient for a number of reasons.

Many children are losing touch with reality. To keep their kids occupied, parents rely on technology. Parents should instead spend more time with their children. According to Worrying rise of the iPad childminder: more and more parents admit using tablets to keep their children quiet, “A poll by parenting website found that half of the parents routinely allow infants to play with their iPhone or tablet.”

It has also been shown by Most 2-Years-Olds Use Mobile Media Devices, “Survey reveals a significant number of toddlers are spending more than an hour a day on mobile device screens.” Many parents are unaware that their actions are damaging to their children’s development. Keep in mind how you were raised. Playing baseball with a broomstick, running around in puddles, and going to parks. It’s never too late to help your children break bad behaviors.
